FLOW:
- Color War Intro
- Who here has ever participated in color war or field day? Maybe at summer camp, or elementary school? Think about the fun and childlike play we all had!
- Now we’re going to that like childlike energy to compete! Competition pushes us to do better and not be complacent. As a result, we often innovate and become creative. Think about how often a team works more creatively when they must compete. Not only are they challenged to win, but they learn valuable team skills and build connection along the way.
- Introducing your color: War Captains
- Your name, Your real super power and what your color means to you or represents
- Ok go to your teams
- pick a color war captain
- think of a team name (purple protocols, blue bears)
- create a team chant
- Color War Captains:
- Get in a circle and we are going to start quick, name, super power, what your real super power, what the color is (2min)
- Ok count off 1-4. Break up the teams and tell the group in 1 min or less how your child self still comes out in the world today. (5 min)
- Gather again. One person on the team please share what you learned about your teammates (4min)
- Ok team we have 5 minutes to come up with a 100% participation chant, cheer, dance to represent Team _color
- Come together with the whole group
- First Color War Point will go to the group with the best cheer! Each group performs (5 min)
